The 28th
May 2001, date of the last Governing Body elections,
the winning candidature was Units per la Comunicació
_Together for the Communication_, headed by Ildefonso
García Serena. In this way, the question-mark
over the government, opened due to the resignation
of the last governing body presided by Ferran Martorell,
in which José Daniel Barquero competed for
the charge with the candidature Tu decideixes _Decide
Yourself_, was solved. The turnout of voters of
this election, where both candidates went to vote
together, was more than 75%. |
